Forest Lake Baseball Association Travel Baseball is for players and families looking to compete at the competitive levels of AAA, AA or A baseball around the Twin Cities Metro Area. All players must tryout to be placed on a traveling roster.
FLBA offers teams for 9U-14U at the traveling level. Players should register for their grade level unless the age limit has been reached and then they must play at the grade above.
The season begins at tryouts on March 18th-19th and the season will generally end in mid to late July if you qualify for a state tournament.
Home games are players at either Fenway Field, Kulenkamp Park or occasionally at Forest Lake Area Middle School.
Road games are held around the metro area depending on league and team participation.
Practices are generally held 2-3 times per week at Fenway Field, Kulenkamp Park or Forest Lake Area Middle School..
Each team will play between a 12 and 16 game league schedule depending on the age. Each team can choose to play in the league playoffs which will add between 1-4 games at the end of the regular season.
Jerseys and Equipment
Jerseys are included in your registration fee and includes the jersey top, one pair of uniform pants and a FL logo hat.
FLBA makes every effort to review jersey number preferences but does not guarantee a player will receive a particular jersey number.
Players should provide their own gloves. FLBA provides a couple sets of catcher gear to each team Bats and helmets are typically purchased by players but a few will be provided by FLBA in the team equipment.
